Womack Visits Water Tech

On August 8th, Water Tech, Inc. had the honor of hosting Congressman Steve Womack and a select group of his staff members at our facility. The purpose of their visit was to gain firsthand insights into our operations and contributions to the industry.

At the heart of the visit was a meeting where Ken Farris, President, and CEO, recounted the journey of Water Tech’s beginning three decades ago to its present-day prominence. Ken emphasized the pivotal role our team plays in sustaining our success.

Accompanying Ken was Roy Sarlls, COO, who engaged in discussions with Congressman Womack on various pertinent topics. These conversations shed light on the critical aspects of our operations and our commitment to innovation and progress.

Following the meeting, Ken and Roy conducted golf cart tours of our expansive facility for Congressman Womack and his team. This experience allowed them to witness the inner workings of Water Tech and gain an understanding of our processes.

To further exemplify our company’s essential role, we conducted a jar testing experiment using actual wastewater from one of the plants we service. This hands-on demonstration vividly showcased how Water Tech’s solutions actively contribute to cleaning water, reinforcing the importance of our work.

The visit offered Congressman Womack the opportunity to witness firsthand the significance of our company and the direct impact we have. As he departed, he carried with him an appreciation for Water Tech’s dedication to advancing the field and making a positive difference throughout the United States.

A Note About The Visit From Water Tech CEO

Water Tech hosted Congressman Steve Womack from Arkansas 3rd District  last Tuesday for brief meeting and a tour of our facility. He and his entourage of people were impressed with our facility and were especially impressed  by Glen Crenshaw’s jar test demonstration of how our chemicals work to clean poultry wastewater.

He was only here for one hour but quickly recognized that we have a special culture here at Water Tech as noted in his comment below the picture that was taken while he was here.

It’s a good feeling to know that we contribute to the local economy and get recognized for it!!

P.S.  Kudo’s and Thanks to Taelor Rogers for arranging all the details of Congressman Womack’s visit.

Formal Words From Representative Womack

I saw some impressive groups in the River Valley, one being Water Tech, Inc. For over three decades, Water Tech has provided full service analytical and technical support for a variety of chemical, biological, and mechanical solutions, and has also supplied rental equipment to their clients. What struck me the most about Water Tech was their distinct culture. These folks know how to roll up their sleeves and get it done with a commitment to excellence. I appreciate Ken Farris and his team for showing me around their expansive facility
